These Flat-12 monsters shook the motoring world in 1970 in which Porsche earned its first—and defiantly not last—win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970. These Porsche 917s are pictured at the 1970 1000KM of Brands Hatch, in which the 917s would prove victorious against the then dominant Ferrari 512 with a 1, 2, 3 finish; in a typical Porsche fashion.
